Gems of Excellence

On Thursday night, October 27th, people gathered at the Manor House in Mason to celebrate those who have made incredible contributions to improve Mason Deerfield. Why Gems of Excellence? The MADE Chamber sees it members as gems and wants to recognize them for their accomplishments. The MADE Chamber values its members and wants to honor their dedication and innovation.

Recognition

Our Chief Culture Officer and Co-owner, Barbara Hogan received the Espirit de Corps which goes to an individual who exemplifies honor, courage, and commitment. As someone who works with Barbara, I know firsthand that she embodies these qualities. She encourages those around her and inspires people to better themselves. She actively listens and engages people to bring out the best in them. This award also focuses on devotion to a cause and loyalty to group members.

Afidence was nominated for the Small Business of the Year. Barbara Hogan, CCO and Co-owner, was also nominated for the Pink Diamond Award.

Festo US won Innovative Business of the Year. Courtenay Enright of Vantiv won the Pink Diamond Award (congrats girl!). Staley Transformations won Regional Business of the Year. Pioneer Cladding & Glazing Systems received the Large Business of the Year Award. Tom Daskalakis of West Chester Hospital won the Excellence in Education Award. People’s First Savings Bank won Community Partner of the Year. The Manor House received the Hospitality Hero award. Lyndsey Schmidt received the Rising Star Award.

Moving Forward

The MADE Chamber's Annual Gems of Excellence was a great night of celebration. It was an honor to be in the presence of so many community game changers. Due to the efforts of organizations like the MADE Chamber, the Mason Deerfield area continues to grow and develop. This event showcased the many individuals making a major impact in the community. The event also provided a preview of the goals and plans for 2017. It is an exciting time to be a part of such a vibrant community!
