Scott has over 22 years of Information Technology experience with Luxottica Retail (LR). During his employment with LR he managed software and hardware used by over 2000 users. Multi-tasking, flexibility, changing priorities, need for consistency and reliability are among some of his strongest soft skills. Technically, Scott has experience with IBM AS400, Citrix, Crystal Reports, Virtual Machine, TCP/?IP, HTML, ODBC, Visual Basic and VB Script. In addition, he has also played the role of a presenter nationally to groups of up to 300 associates, users, and managers.
Culturally, we applaud Scott for earning the “Shining Star” award through LR for integrity and commitment as well as being awarded the Presidential Pin 13 times by the President and CEO of LR through the nominations submitted by associates for project performance that exceeded customer expectations.
Volunteering has always been a part of Scott’s life, as he has volunteered over 100 hours as the Technical Consultant for the Warren County Family and Children First Council 2011 Community Report.
Scott is also a regular volunteer at Real Money Real World, a money management simulation event for high school teens. And very recently Scott completed a two day volunteer project with L.R. by providing vision testing to disadvantaged children in the Cincinnati school system.
Scott and his wife are contributing partners with the Warren County Foundation. The Michelichs attend Antioch church at the YMCA in Lebanon. Scott’s wife has worked as an Educator for The Ohio State University Extension office in Warren County for over 20 years.
We welcome Scott to the team!
