AfidenceIT is hiring. We are currently looking to fill two positions in the Greater Dayton area.
As a Project Manager consultant with Afidence, you will be a critical component in maintaining the reputation of excellence Afidence has earned by delivering expertise and solutions to our clients every day. The Afidence PM consultant will work with all areas of the client’s business, as needed, to drive successful completion of software development or integration projects to the specifications of time, quality, and budget. The position requires the Project Manager to communicate and coordinate teams from all levels of the organization, including 3rd party vendors, by using proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize our client’s investments.
Manages assigned projects while observing and balancing the time, budget, and scope constraints as outlined in the project charter.
Creates dependable, organized, and clear communications appropriate for consumption at all levels and across all departments which adhere to the standards and expectations of the client and Afidence.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups including vendors, executives, managers and subject matter experts.
Develops and provides thorough documentation throughout project as needed, as well as best practices and lessons learned at project close.
Build and maintain long-term working relationships with all areas and levels of the organization through open communication and the execution of ethical practices.
Manages projects of varying levels of scope and complexity with multiple and competing demands.
Provide strategy and process improvement recommendations as necessary while maintaining flexibility in methods of project delivery to meet or exceed client standards and policies.
Develops knowledge of how assigned projects fit with the client’s overall business goals, subsequently identifying and analyzing risk factors that are barriers to project success.
Identifies key project stakeholders for inclusion in the change management and problem solving processes as well as normal communication rhythms.
A high level feeling of ownership over assigned projects
Commitment and passion for continuous learning to stay on top of industry changes
Working knowledge of project management principles and processes
Working knowledge of current software development methodologies
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in IT-related field) or equivalent experience
PMP Preferred but not necessary
SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Exceptional technology infrastructure experience in at least one of the following primary areas of need:
Microsoft Windows Server
Experience in any of the following secondary areas of need is a plus:
Microsoft Exchange (2010, 2013)
Microsoft SharePoint (2010, 2013)
Windows Workstation Image Engineering/Management (Windows 7, 8, 8.1)
Apple (Mac, iPhone, iPad)
Storage Areas Networking
Cisco Call Manager
Very strong interpersonal/communication skills
4 year college degree required or equivalent military experience
Minimum of 5 years of technology experience
Candidate must be able to pass a criminal and financial background check
Very little travel required outside of the Cincinnati/Dayton area
